Specialty tea and cheese degustation, winter edition
One winter evening we got together at our local cheese shop and hosted a tea and cheese degustation for a dozen guests. Together with Dominique Durand, owner and proprietor of The Larder, we created a seven-course tea and cheese degustation that paired complementary creamy and buttery flavours, and fresh succulent umami with mature cheese.
We had a really great time preparing tea for service and asking guests of their impressions and opinions of the pairings. Most were pleasantly surprised by how well tea and cheese went together! A few days after the evening, we’re still buzzing and are beginning to plan a spring edition of tea and cheese degustation.
